California Farmworker Foundation Announces Family Resource Center in Delano, Marking a Historic Milestone 10 Years in the Making
DELANO, CA — The California Farmworker Foundation (CFF) today celebrated the official launch of the CFF Family Resource Center in Delano, California — a transformative milestone more than a decade in the making. The announcement was made at a Community Welcome Event bringing together farmworkers and their families, local elected officials, nonprofit partners, community leaders, and residents from throughout the Central Valley.
Designed as a comprehensive one-stop hub, the CFF Family Resource Center wil provide farmworker families with direct access to a wide range of critical wraparound services, including healthcare resources, workforce development, digital literacy training, food assistance, immigration support services, family wellness programs, and other community-based resources designed to improve quality of life and expand opportunity. Farmworkers are the backbone of California’s agricultural economy, yet many families continue to face significant barriers to accessing essential services. The announcement of the CFF Family Resource Center represents a meaningful and long-overdue investment in the health, education, and future of the communities that help feed the state and the nation.
The Center’s launch comes after years of community engagement, partnership-building, and strategic planning led by CFF staff, board members, and regional stakeholders. The facility will be set to open late Summer and welcoming farmworkers and their families throughout the Delano area and greater Central Valley.
