June Celebrates Father’s Day!

In June, the spotlight shined on celebrating farm-working fathers, acknowledging their enduring love, unwavering support, and selfless sacrifices for their families, homes, and careers. This year, in tribute to Father’s Day, CFF expanded its festivities over the month by hosting regional events in Santa Maria, Fresno, Tulare, Kern, and Coachella.

The overarching theme emphasized bestowing upon fathers the invaluable presents of health, wellness, and self-care. Prioritizing fathers’ access to vital medical and healthcare services was paramount. Through collaboration with healthcare providers and health-centric community entities, we orchestrated an enlightening health and wellness day tailored exclusively for fathers. Five events were conducted, engaging over 300 farm-working fathers in a day dedicated to their well-being. These gatherings featured a spectrum of offerings such as nutrition, resources, gifts, music, and interactive activities. Prizes including wellness gift certificates, electronics, gift baskets, and more were distributed among participants.

CFF partnered with healthcare providers and community organizations to deliver essential healthcare services directly to attending fathers. The events disseminated pivotal information and services encompassing heart health, men’s health, chronic illnesses, as well as fitness and nutritional guidance.

Our heartfelt appreciation extends to all partners, organizations, sponsors, and donors whose contributions were instrumental in the success of this event. It was a privilege to acknowledge and commemorate fathers for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices. Our gesture of offering the gift of good health stood as a modest tribute to fathers on Father’s Day.
